About The Position
Under direct supervision, this position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family, and providers in the department. This role involves completing duties delegated for the shift and maintaining clear communication regarding patient needs through the RN and Charge Nurse. Requirements
- Completed training program for Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) or any equivalent combination of knowledge, skills, abilities, education, and experience.
- Completion of Medical Terminology course required or successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
- Alaska Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association within 30 days of hire.
