About The Position

We are hiring for a Child Development Teacher position at Providence Health System Alaska in Anchorage, AK. This is a full-time position, 1.0 FTE, with 8-hour Day shifts, totaling 40 hours per week. Applicants who meet the qualifications will receive an invitation with additional screening questions from our HireVue system. The role involves managing the classroom and implementing curriculum in accordance with licensing and NAEYC Accreditation standards, as well as evaluating program effectiveness. The position also includes supervising and mentoring in-room staff. Requirements

Within 1 year of hire: Child Development Associate (CDA), a national early childhood certification credential (if employee does not have an associate degree or higher in early childhood or other related field)
1 year Paid or unpaid experience in an early childhood program.
Participation in a degree seeking program or internship where the major is in Education shall be credited as experience. Associate’s degree level program candidates shall be credited 1 year experience and Bachelor’s degree program candidates shall be credited 2 years experience.
