About The Position
We are hiring for an Associate Echocardiograph Technologist position at Providence Alaska Medical Center in Anchorage, AK! This is a Full Time position, 0.9 FTE, Variable Shift, working 36 hours per week. Applicants who meet the qualifications will receive an invitation with additional screening questions from our HireVue system. Under the general supervision of the Operations Manager and Senior Echo sonographers, and according to established policies and procedures, this role performs echocardiograms to produce diagnostic data assessing heart function and capability. This data is used by the cardiologist to enhance patient care and treatment. The technologist obtains pertinent patient information, explains the purpose and duration of testing to patients, reviews results, and arranges reports for physician review. Requirements
- Successful completion of an accredited Echo sonography program.
- Upon hire: National Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
- Upon hire: National Certification from Cardiovascular Credentialing International.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
- 6 months Experience as a sonographer
Responsibilities
