About The Position

Comfort Keepers is hiring a part-time CNA in the St. Joseph area. The starting wage for CNAs is $20–$21 per hour. Caregivers start at $18 per hour and, after five months of employment, may enroll in the free CNA training program; upon certification, their wage increases to $20 per hour. The role involves assisting clients with personal care, mealtime, housekeeping, and required documentation while maintaining client confidentiality.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Able to bend, kneel, squat, and stand, and lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
• Able to assist both male and female clients with personal care.
• Must have held a driver's license for at least three years.
• Clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care needs as needed.
• Assist clients at mealtime and monitor their eating habits.
• Ensure required documentation is complete and compliant.
• Assist with housekeeping tasks.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding each client.
