About The Position
Moosehaven is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant to work in its Skilled Unit. The schedule is 40 hours per week on the first shift, 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., including every other weekend and four weekdays. A shift differential is offered. The CNA provides compassionate, direct care to residents and performs care-related procedures according to resident care plans, physician orders, and direction from the charge nurse. Moosehaven is a resort-style retirement community on the St. John's River in Orange Park, Florida, with a history of caring for seniors for more than 100 years.
Requirements
- Valid CNA license.
- CPR/BLS certificate; online certification is not accepted.
Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, direct resident care and perform care-related procedures.
- Carry out assignments according to resident care plans, physician orders, and direction from the charge nurse.
- Take residents' vital signs and weigh residents.
- Assist with obtaining resident specimens.
- Help residents with bathing and dressing.
- Perform other care-related responsibilities.
