About The Position

As a Nursing Assistant at Community Health Services Campus, you will help provide compassionate, high-quality care to residents in skilled nursing facilities. The role supports residents’ well-being and daily activities, including personal care, mobility, and assistance with specific medical needs. The schedule is 6 a.m. to 2 p.m., with work every other weekend and holiday.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required.
• Knowledge of anatomy and basic medical terminology.
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with diverse populations.
• A compassionate approach to caregiving, especially for individuals with dementia.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in skilled nursing or assisted living environments.
• Basic understanding of emergency procedures.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Monitor and record vital signs and report changes to nursing staff.
• Provide catheter care and support residents with specific medical needs.
• Engage compassionately with residents with dementia and provide assistance.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents.
• Assist residents with mobility and positioning to support comfort and safety.
• Communicate with team members to coordinate patient care.
• Participate in training to enhance patient-care skills and knowledge.
