CNA - FT40 - 1st shift
About The Position
Moosehaven is hiring a full-time Certified Nursing Assistant for its Skilled Unit. The schedule is 40 hours per week, with a 1st shift from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., working every other weekend and four weekdays. A shift differential is offered. The CNA will provide compassionate, direct resident care and perform care-related procedures according to resident care plans, physician orders, and direction from the charge nurse. Moosehaven is a resort-style retirement community on a 67-acre campus in Orange Park, Florida. The organization has cared for seniors for more than 100 years and describes its commitment to employees and the local community, including free public events through its Heart of the Community program.
Requirements
- Valid CNA license.
- CPR/BLS certificate; online certification is not accepted.
Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, direct resident care and perform care-related procedures.
- Carry out assignments according to resident care plans, physician orders, and direction from the charge nurse.
- Take residents’ vital signs and weigh residents.
- Assist in obtaining specimens from residents.
- Help residents with bathing and dressing.
- Perform other care-related responsibilities.
