This position provides resident-centered personal care including bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing/undressing, obtaining vital signs, psychosocial support and other personal cares. The role involves assisting residents with transfers, repositioning, and walking using appropriate techniques and equipment, as well as providing range of motion and passive exercise. Responsibilities also include completing dining and food preparation tasks, assisting residents with meals and snacks, providing water and supplements, and ensuring a positive dining experience. The CNA is responsible for administering medications accurately and in a timely manner, documenting resident care outcomes, medications/treatments, behaviors, activities, and dietary intake. Additionally, the role involves providing housekeeping and laundry services, encouraging resident participation in wellness and recreational programs, and maintaining a desire to work with residents in sub-acute and long-term care settings.
