About The Position
Home Helpers Home Care of Olney is hiring compassionate CNAs and GNAs to provide comprehensive home care. This part-time position is scheduled every Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM, for a total of 12 hours per week. Requirements
- Current CPR and First Aid certification.
- Current CNA license.
- Valid driver's license and auto insurance.
- Reliable transportation.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to understand care plans and assessments.
- Current doctor's medical health clearance to work, including a negative TB test.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, and transfers.
- Prepare meals.
- Perform light housekeeping.
- Monitor and report physical and behavioral changes.
- Assist with medication reminders.
- Assist with ambulation.
- Monitor blood pressure and glucose levels.
