About The Position

KalCare Health Care is seeking a dependable, flexible, and compassionate full-time floater (on-call) caregiver serving Metro Atlanta. The role provides coverage for open shifts and supports multiple clients as needed, ensuring continuity and quality of care. Care may be provided to no more than two clients per day. The position requires Monday–Friday availability during operational care hours, 9 a.m.–5 p.m., with some weekends required. The caregiver must be available by phone, actively monitor the scheduling system, and be able to work up to eight hours per day. Compensation is $19.00 per hour.

Requirements

• CNA certification.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between clients.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and assignments.
• Availability by phone and ability to actively monitor the scheduling system.
• Availability Monday through Friday during 9 a.m.–5 p.m. operational care hours, with some weekends required.
• Ability to work up to eight hours per day.
• Professional appearance; scrubs are required.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in home care, caregiving, or healthcare is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Fill open shifts and provide coverage as assigned.
• Deliver care to multiple clients, with no more than two clients per day.
• Assist clients with activities of daily living, companionship, and other support.
• Maintain accurate documentation in AxisCare.
• Report to assigned clients within one hour of notification.
• Provide consistent, high-quality care across varying client needs.
• Maintain professional appearance; scrubs are required.
• Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and flexibility.
• Provide excellent customer service and compassionate care.
• Uphold client confidentiality and company policies.
