About The Position

Grand Living is hiring a part-time Certified Nursing Assistant to provide compassionate, personalized care to senior living residents. The role supports residents’ independence and well-being through assistance with daily living, participation in community and wellness activities, and attentive communication with the nursing team. CNAs help create a warm, engaging environment and deliver respectful, timely service in keeping with Grand Living’s hospitality-focused approach.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification, as required by state and assignment.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Positive attitude and genuine desire to enhance the lives of others.
Ability to read, write, and understand English to communicate effectively with residents, guests, supervisors, and team members.
Ability to stand, walk, climb stairs, crouch, bend, stoop, reach, grasp, push, pull, and remain active throughout the shift.
Ability to lift or carry up to 50 pounds.

Nice To Haves

One or more years of experience providing assistance with activities of daily living.
One or more years of experience working with seniors.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living, including dressing, eating, grooming, personal hygiene, mobility, communication, and toileting.
Follow residents’ personalized care plans while promoting dignity, independence, and well-being.
Observe residents and communicate changes or concerns to the nursing team.
Build meaningful relationships with residents and families and help create a warm, engaging atmosphere.
Participate in community activities, wellness programs, dining experiences, and special events.
Work collaboratively with Health & Wellness, Culinary, Lifestyle, and Hospitality teams to deliver an exceptional resident experience.
Document all services provided or declined.
Deliver care that is professional, respectful, timely, and personalized.
Help create an environment where every resident feels valued and cared for.
