About The Position
HomeWell Care Services of NWI is seeking compassionate CNAs to provide individualized, one-on-one in-home care to seniors and others who need support and companionship. The role focuses on helping clients maintain quality of life and age in place in their own homes, while building relationships through empathetic, excellent, and reliable care. Full-time and part-time options are available.
Requirements
- Have daily access to email, the Internet, and a mobile phone.
- Provide proof of a current negative tuberculosis (TB) test, as required by the State of Indiana.
- Be physically able to perform the job duties, including lifting, pushing, and pulling approximately 25 pounds.
- Have a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and proof of valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
- Have a compassionate heart for older adults.
- Possess excellent communication skills.
- Be mature, caring, punctual, and reliable.

- Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's care.
Responsibilities
- Provide social companionship.
- Assist with daily living tasks, including feeding, medication reminders, bathing, dressing, personal hygiene, grooming, and toileting.
- Perform light housekeeping, cleaning, laundry, and cooking or meal preparation.
- Provide transportation to appointments, errands, and social outings.
- Provide standby assistance with transfers.
- Provide overnight safety assistance.
- Provide other care as needed.
