About The Position
Phippen 6/7 is a 32 Bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg Unit. This is a private unit admitting all other medical overflows. The unit has a census of 32 total beds, with 16 beds in Phippen 6 and 16 beds in Phippen 7. The patient population includes scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro/Surg patients, Fractures, Neuro patients, and all other medical patients’ overflow.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Current Massachusetts CNA License.
- AHA BLS certification.
- Experience with Cardiac Telemetry.
- Experience with Cardiac drips.
- Ability to interpret Tele Strips.
- Experience with TR Bands.
- Experience with Hi-Flow Oxygen.
Responsibilities
- Provide care for Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg patients.
- Admit medical overflows.
- Monitor patients with Cardiac Telemetry, Cardiac drips, TR Bands, and Hi-Flow Oxygen.
- Interpret Tele Strips.
- Chart using EPIC EMR system.
