About The Position
This full-time position involves delivering exceptional and individualized care to residents, assisting with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and dignity. As a universal support role, you will also assist with culinary, housekeeping, laundry, and activity department needs. The role requires connecting with residents and family members compassionately, engaging in continuous learning, and maintaining confidentiality of resident information.
Requirements
- High School graduate or GED equivalent required
- Current certification from an accredited Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
- Comfortable working across departments and adjusting duties as community needs shift throughout the day
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Must demonstrate the ability to serve with love, compassion, and dignity
Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional and individualized care as determined by each resident's care plan
- Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) while promoting independence and maintaining dignity
- Support residents beyond direct care by assisting with culinary, housekeeping, laundry, and activity department needs as part of the universal support role
- Report changes in resident health status to the clinical team
- Connect with residents and family members in a compassionate and impactful manner, creating a lasting and positive experience
- Engage in continuous learning and development opportunities through attendance and participation in educational seminars, staff meetings, and other learning experiences
- Comply with all rules and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy of resident information
- Perform any other duties as assigned
