About The Position

The Part-Time Universal Worker supports residents with daily needs and helps maintain the day-to-day operations of our assisted living community. This hands-on role may include assisting with personal care, housekeeping tasks, meal support, and resident activities to help ensure a safe, comfortable, and welcoming environment.

Requirements

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to provide compassionate care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Attention to detail and ability to monitor and report changes in patients' health status.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including grooming, dressing, bathing, and mobility.
• Support residents during mealtime and assist with serving or feeding as needed.
• Perform light housekeeping duties such as laundry, making beds, and cleaning resident rooms or common areas.
• Encourage and assist residents to participate in recreational and social activities.
• Observe and report any changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition to the nurse or supervisor.
• Maintain confidentiality and uphold residents’ rights and dignity at all times.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure a positive, caring, and safe environment.
