About The Position

Requirements

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification recognized in the state of Texas.
  • Valid Driver's License (Good Driving Record)
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of patient care procedures and safety protocols.
  • Ability to operate transportation equipment safely within a healthcare environment.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage inventory and supply distribution.
  • Patient care techniques and safety awareness are applied daily to ensure patients are transported securely and comfortably.
  • Organizational skills are essential for managing central supply inventory, tracking stock levels, and replenishing supplies to prevent shortages.
  • Communication skills facilitate effective collaboration with nursing staff and other departments, ensuring seamless coordination of patient transport and supply delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with mobility and transportation needs within the healthcare facility, ensuring their safety and comfort during transfers.
  • Perform routine patient care tasks under the supervision of nursing staff, including hygiene assistance, vital signs monitoring, and basic patient support.
  • Manage central supply inventory by receiving, organizing, and distributing medical and operational supplies to various departments.
  • Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of transportation equipment and supply storage areas to comply with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with nursing, transportation, and supply chain teams to coordinate timely delivery of supplies and efficient patient movement.
