CNA Trainee
About The Position
Bethany St. Joseph Corporation offers a paid CNA in Training program that covers the cost of the CNA course and the skills and knowledge exams. While completing the course, trainees work as Resident Care Assistants/CNAs in Training, orient to the facility, begin learning CNA duties, and assist CNAs and nurses with tasks that do not require certification. CNA trainees earn $17.50 per hour; after completing the CNA program, the wage increases to $20.00 per hour. The position supports residents’ day-to-day lives through compassionate care and a positive work environment. Certified Nursing Assistant duties include providing personal care, transporting residents to meals and activities, documenting daily care, and performing other related tasks. PM shift offers full-time and part-time opportunities; NOC shift offers part-time opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Orient to the facility and begin training in CNA duties.
- Assist CNAs and nurses with tasks that can be performed without certification.
- Provide residents with compassionate care and help enhance their day-to-day lives.
- Provide personal care to residents.
- Transport residents to meals and activities.
- Document daily care.
- Help create a positive work environment.
