About The Position

State Tested Nursing Assistants (STNAs) provide compassionate, dignified care to patients and families during end-of-life care. Working closely with the interdisciplinary team, STNAs serve as its eyes and ears. Quick response STNAs are an important part of the Even More Care program, responding to urgent physical or psychosocial needs and providing companionship to patients in the active stages of dying. The office is located in Blue Ash, Ohio, and patients are served within a 50-mile radius.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• Active, unrestricted state certification as a nurse’s aide.
• 3 to 6 months of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurse’s Aide.
• Interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients, families, interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
• Ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization.
• Personal transportation, a valid driver’s license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate the vehicle.
