About The Position

As a Quick Response CNA (STNA), you will be a vital part of our Even More Care program, providing urgent support during active stages of dying. You will serve as the steady presence families can count on, responding quickly to evolving physical or emotional needs. Requirements

  • High School Diploma or G.E.D.
  • Completion of an Ohio State Department of Health Competency Test from an accredited program with a minimum requirement of 75 hours of certification.
  • Certified by the state as a nurses' aide with an unrestricted, active aide certification.
  • 1 year of current experience as a Hospice Aide or Nurses Aide.
  • Interpersonal skills sufficient to interact effectively with patients and their families, as well as all interdisciplinary caregivers, peers, subordinates, and supervisors.
  • Ability to learn computer skills related to required clinical software and electronic clinical record utilization.
  • Reliable vehicle/transportation, valid driver's license, required automobile insurance, and the ability to safely and independently operate said vehicle.

Nice To Haves

  • Hospice or Home Health Agency experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Providing urgent support during active stages of dying as part of the Even More Care program.
  • Serving as a steady presence for families, responding quickly to evolving physical or emotional needs.
  • Traveling to serve patients throughout 9 counties in Northeast Ohio as part of the emergent care team.
