The position focuses on helping seniors remain safe, independent, and dignified in their own homes.
Requirements
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Reliability, punctuality, and communication are essential
- CNA/STNA, LPN, RN, nursing student, or relevant healthcare experience preferred
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's license
- Ability to pass required background check, motor vehicle check, and drug screening
- Compassion for seniors and a genuine desire to serve others
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence care
- Support mobility, transfers, and fall prevention
- Provide medication reminders and observe and report changes in condition
- Assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Help seniors maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life
- Communicate effectively with clients, families, and Senior Helpers office staff
- Accurately document care and promptly report changes or concerns
