About The Position

Aspire Senior Living is seeking compassionate and dependable CNAs and Resident Assistants to provide personalized care and support that helps residents maintain their independence, dignity, comfort, and quality of life. CNA certification is desirable but not required. The role involves getting to know residents and providing individualized support based on their needs and preferences. The position requires the ability to perform its essential functions, with or without reasonable accommodation; accommodations may be available to qualified individuals with disabilities.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Strong communication and customer-service skills.
Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Willingness to complete required CBRF certifications and training.
Ability to safely use applicable resident transfer and mobility equipment.

Nice To Haves

CNA certification is desirable but not required.
Previous caregiving, assisted living, memory care, or senior living experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Assist residents with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, dining, and other activities of daily living.
Provide care according to each resident's Individual Service Plan (ISP).
Assist residents with mobility and transfers using appropriate equipment and safe practices.
Complete wellness checks and promptly respond to resident calls and alarms.
Observe residents for changes in condition or behavior and promptly report concerns.
Accurately document resident care and services.
Assist with medications when appropriately trained and delegated.
Follow resident-rights, infection-prevention, and safety requirements.
Participate in required meetings and training.
Help maintain a safe, comfortable, and homelike environment.
Build positive relationships with residents, families, and coworkers.
