CNA/PCA Overnight | PC | Bountiful
About The Position
We are seeking a reliable, compassionate CNA or PCA for a full-time, overnight position caring for a patient located in Bountiful, Utah. In this role, you will provide critical night-time support, ensuring our resident remains safe, comfortable, and respected in their environment. Requirements
- Active Utah CNA license required for the higher pay tier; PCA candidates must have relevant caregiving experience or training.
- Ability to consistently work the designated overnight schedule (9:00 PM – 7:00 AM) in Bountiful.
- Adherence to safety measures, including personal protective equipment (PPE), regular cleaning procedures, and health screenings.
Responsibilities
- Provide companion care and direct physical assistance during the overnight hours.
- Assist with personal care tasks including bathing, grooming, toileting, and dressing.
- Support daily living needs such as light housekeeping (vacuuming, dusting, changing linens) and meal preparation.
- Document and summarize all services performed accurately during your shift.
- Communicate effectively by notifying the authorized designee of any changes in client condition or care plans.
- Deliver physical support for daily activities including transfers, positioning, bathing, and exercising.
- Turn and reposition residents safely while they are in bed to ensure comfort and skin integrity.
- Monitor dietary needs by reviewing restrictions, food allergies, and liquid intake/output.
- Report health changes promptly and accurately to the supervising nursing staff.
- Maintain timely visits and adhere strictly to professional care standards.
