About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality care focused on the comfort and well-being of patients and their families. The role involves applying strong decision-making skills and a commitment to patient care in a collaborative, mission-driven environment at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital, a 367-bed regional medical center in Tacoma, Washington. The position is 0.75 FTE, with 12-hour day shifts and alternating weekends.
Requirements
- Current Washington State CNA license.
- Current BLS Certification.
Nice To Haves
- One year of experience in a physician's office or other medical facility is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage basic care activities with a customer service-oriented delivery of care to patients.
- Support the delivery of care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health across diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
- Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients.
