About The Position
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) provides high-quality basic care focused on the comfort and well-being of patients and their families. The role requires sound decision-making and a customer-service-oriented approach. The CNA supports patients from diverse ethnic and social groups, advocates for ethical and holistic care that promotes patient autonomy, dignity, and health, and helps create a safe, supportive environment. This position is with the Neuro ICU at MultiCare Tacoma General Hospital in Tacoma, Washington. It is a 0.75 FTE role on day shift, working 12-hour shifts with alternating weekends.
Requirements
- Current Washington State CNA license.
- Current BLS Certification.

- One year of experience in a physician's office or other medical facility preferred.

- Manage basic care activities with a customer-service-oriented delivery of care to patients.
- Support the delivery of care and services to patients from diverse ethnic and social groups.
- Advocate for ethical and holistic care that promotes the autonomy, dignity, and health of patients from diverse ethnic and social backgrounds.
- Create and provide a safe and supportive environment for patients.
