About The Position

AmeriCare Plus is hiring Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA), Nursing Assistants (NA), and Personal Care Aides (PCA) to provide compassionate in-home personal care to clients in Craig County. Caregivers support clients in the comfort of their own homes. Online training is provided for people interested in PCA work who are not certified.

Requirements

• CNA, NA, or PCA certification; online training is provided for people interested in PCA work.
• Reliable transportation and a valid Virginia driver’s license.
• Social Security card.
• Two professional references.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable disposition.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal hygiene, grooming, and bathing.
• Support client mobility and transfers, such as moving from bed to wheelchair.
• Prepare light meals and assist with feeding.
• Provide medication reminders.
• Offer companionship and emotional support.
• Perform light housekeeping duties.
• Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior.
