About The Position

The CNA-Memory Care Care Giver provides compassionate care and support to residents in a memory care community. The role emphasizes responding promptly to residents’ needs, protecting them from harm, supporting their physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional well-being, and empowering them to live as fully as possible. The community aims for a low staff-to-resident ratio, with a goal of one CNA for every eight residents.

Employees are expected to practice the LCS Hospitality Promises in interactions with residents, colleagues, and guests. These include greeting people warmly, treating everyone with respect, anticipating needs, listening and responding promptly, holding oneself and others accountable, making people feel important, valuing differences, offering further assistance, maintaining professional conduct and appearance, and attending to details. The position is part-time, based in Clinton Township, Michigan, and is not remote. Day, afternoon, and night shifts are available. Starting pay is $17.50 per hour and may vary with experience.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.

Nice To Haves

• One year of experience working as a CNA or HHA preferred.
• One year of experience working in assisted living, memory care, or a skilled setting preferred.
• Enthusiasm, compassion, and a passion for hospitality and senior engagement.
