About The Position

The CNA provides clerical and patient care support services to hospital clinical departments. The position is based on the Inpatient unit but may involve work in other patient care areas as needed, depending on patient activity and staffing needs, to help provide high-quality, safe care to all Southwest Health patients. The CNA works under the direction of the House Supervisor.

This is a part-time position of 24 hours per week, working nights from 5:00 p.m. to 5:30 a.m. every Wednesday and Thursday. There is no weekend rotation. Holidays are worked if they fall on the scheduled workdays.

Requirements

• Hold current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credentials in good standing on the Wisconsin Nurse Aid Registry.
• Hold Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Be familiar with medical terminology.
• Have prior health care experience.
• Have knowledge of basic office procedures and equipment and computer systems.
