About The Position

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a flexible and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to provide support across multiple medical-surgical units at an academic medical center in Syracuse, New York. The role offers varied clinical experience while maintaining consistent patient care standards across units in a collaborative, innovative, and supportive Level I Trauma Center environment. The position is full-time, pays $31 per hour, and follows a night-shift schedule of six 12-hour shifts over two weeks, including evening shifts from 11:00 to 23:30 and every other weekend.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current New York State CNA certification.
• BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of patient care experience and Level 1 trauma/emergency department experience.
• Proficiency in obtaining vital signs, providing patient hygiene, and assisting with activities of daily living.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Adaptability to different unit environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple medical-surgical units.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
• Support nursing staff with procedures and treatments.
• Maintain clean and safe patient environments.
• Transport patients and equipment as needed.
