About The Position

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a flexible and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant for a Medical-Surgical Float team in Syracuse, NY. The role provides support across multiple medical-surgical units and offers varied clinical experience while maintaining consistent patient care standards in an academic medical center. The position is full-time and pays $31 per hour. The schedule consists of six 12-hour shifts over two weeks, with evening shifts listed as 11:00–23:30 and every other weekend required. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current New York State CNA certification.
• BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of patient care experience.
• Level 1 trauma or Emergency Department experience.
• Proficiency in taking vital signs, patient hygiene, and activities of daily living.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different unit environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple medical-surgical units.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
• Support nursing staff with procedures and treatments.
• Maintain clean and safe patient environments.
• Transport patients and equipment as needed.
