About The Position

Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is seeking a flexible and experienced Certified Nursing Assistant to support a Medical-Surgical Float team in Syracuse, New York. The role provides support across multiple medical-surgical units, offering varied clinical experiences while maintaining consistent patient care standards in an academic medical center and Level I Trauma Center. The position is full-time, pays $31 per hour, and follows a night-shift schedule consisting of six 12-hour shifts over two weeks, with evening shifts from 11:00 to 23:30 and every other weekend required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Current New York State CNA certification.
• BLS certification.
• At least 1 year of patient care experience, including Level 1 trauma or Emergency Department experience.
• Proficiency in vital signs, patient hygiene, and activities of daily living.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to adapt to different unit environments.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care across multiple medical-surgical units.
• Assist patients with activities of daily living and mobility.
• Obtain and document vital signs and patient information.
• Support nursing staff with procedures and treatments.
• Maintain clean and safe patient environments.
• Transport patients and equipment as needed.
