About The Position

Performs routine duties to assist professional nursing staff with resident care and treatments in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. Works under the general supervision of a licensed nurse. Courtland Terrace is a 96-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation center that is part of the CaroMont Health System. The facility also offers assisted living, a memory care unit, licensed rehabilitation services, intravenous therapy, and wound care.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent, or must obtain one within 18 months of hire.
• Successful completion of Nursing Assistant I classes.
• Meet North Carolina Nurse Aide I registry requirements for listing through the Healthcare Personnel Registry.
• Caring attitude toward the geriatric population.
• Good time management skills.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association.
