About The Position

BrightStar Care is seeking a compassionate, dependable full-time In-Home Caregiver to provide quality care and support to clients in the St. Paul area. The role helps seniors and individuals who need assistance with daily living activities maintain independence in a safe, comfortable home environment. Shifts range from 1 to 12 hours. One-hour shifts pay $30 per hour, two-hour shifts pay $22.50 per hour, and shifts of three hours or longer pay a base rate of $19 to $22 per hour based on experience. The position requires availability for two weekend days per month. Requirements

Have a compassionate, patient, and caring nature.
Have strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Have hands-on care experience in a setting such as home health, assisted living, a group home, or a hospital.
Have a reliable vehicle, a valid driver’s license, and auto insurance.
Provide a negative TB test or cleared chest X-ray.
Be available to work two weekend days per month.

Responsibilities

Provide companionship and conversation to clients.
Assist with daily activities, including meal preparation, light housekeeping, and errands.
Assist clients with bathing, dressing, grooming, transferring, and ambulation.
Accompany clients to appointments or social outings and provide transportation as needed.
Monitor and report changes in clients’ health, behavior, and needs.
Participate in care coordination and communicate with the RN Case Manager to update the plan of care.
