About The Position

Assisting Hands Home Care is hiring CNAs and HHAs for home care opportunities throughout Jacksonville and Duval County. We are looking for individuals who want meaningful work helping seniors and adults stay safely at home. Our caregivers work one on one with clients, allowing ample time to get to know the person they are helping. We have clients who need assistance during the day, as well as other times of the week, with various needs including personal care, meal preparation, light housekeeping, reminders, errands, and companionship.

Requirements

• Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
• Level Two Background Screening
• Recent TB screening
• Classroom CPR certification
• HIV AIDS training
• Alzheimers and Related Dementias training
• Assistance with Self Administration of Medication training
• Reliable transportation
• Good communication skills
• A dependable and professional attitude

Nice To Haves

• Comfort around pets is preferred because some clients have pets in their homes.
