About The Position

At St. Luke's, exceptional care starts with exceptional people. As a CNA or Nurse Apprentice in the Meridian Emergency Department, you'll provide compassionate, hands-on care in one of the busiest Emergency Departments in the Treasure Valley. Working alongside experienced emergency medicine professionals, you'll gain valuable experience caring for patients of all ages in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment.

Requirements

Current Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS)/CPR Provider certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross
Ability to provide direct patient care under the direction of licensed healthcare professionals in a fast-paced Emergency Department environment
Current Nurse Apprentice Letter from the State Board of Nursing
Enrolled in an accredited school of nursing (ACEN, CCNE, or CNEA accredited program)

Responsibilities

Provide patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse while gaining hands-on clinical experience.
