About The Position

Heritage House is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) to join their team. This role involves assisting residents with daily living activities, providing emotional support, monitoring health, facilitating participation in activities, ensuring a clean and safe environment, and communicating effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team. Both 2nd and 3rd shifts are available.

Requirements

• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Medication Aide (CMA) certification.
• Ability to assist residents with daily living activities.
• Ability to conduct routine health monitoring.
• Ability to facilitate resident participation in activities.
• Knowledge of infection control protocols.
• Effective communication skills.
• Must complete a pre-hire health assessment and 4 panel drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with daily living activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and meals.
• Provide emotional support and companionship, fostering a positive and engaging environment.
• Conduct routine health monitoring, such as checking vital signs and administering medications.
• Facilitate resident participation in recreational and therapeutic activities.
• Ensure a clean and safe environment by adhering to infection control protocols.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, and the healthcare team to provide comprehensive care.
