This role involves preparing the clinic for patients by stocking exam rooms, setting up equipment, and ensuring supplies are ready. Responsibilities include rooming patients, taking vital signs, conducting screenings, and gathering health information. The CNA will work alongside providers, communicating clinical findings, assisting with procedures and dressing changes, and collecting/processing laboratory specimens in compliance with CLIA regulations. Accurate documentation in the electronic medical record is essential. The role also includes patient and family education, explaining procedures, treatments, and self-care clearly and compassionately. Between patient visits, the CNA will help maintain clinic efficiency by monitoring and ordering supplies, maintaining inventory records, supporting scheduling, and assisting with general office duties. Close communication with teammates is crucial for coordinating patient flow and responding to changing demands. Quality and safety are paramount, requiring adherence to RWPC policies, infection control practices, and safety standards, participation in training and quality audits, and maintaining required competencies, including BLS certification. Professionalism, flexibility, and a collaborative spirit are expected, whether working independently or as part of a multidisciplinary team.
