About The Position
Always Best Care Senior Services of Alexandria is looking for care professionals to provide in-home personal care services to our senior community in the greater Alexandria area. We are seeking experienced professionals who are caring, flexible, and always willing to learn.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification or license sponsored by Virginia Board of Nursing
- Previous experience as a caregiver or related field
- Ability to handle physical demands of the job, including lifting and assisting clients
- Excellent communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Two (2) professional references
- Ability to pass criminal record check
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Assist with mobility and transfers.
- Prepare and serve nutritious meals.
- Perform light housekeeping duties, including laundry and light cleaning.
- Monitor and report changes in the client’s health and behavior.
- Maintain a safe and clean living environment.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals.
