About The Position

Cypress Pointe Health and Wellness Center is hiring a full-time Certified Nurse Aide / Nursing Assistant to provide patient care in eight-hour shifts. The role involves supporting patients’ daily activities and functional abilities, working as part of an interdisciplinary team, protecting patient rights and confidentiality, and responding to patient needs.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Certified Nurse Aide certification in the State of Texas.
CPR certification.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and physically perform job-related duties.
Ability to act in a compassionate and supportive manner.

Responsibilities

Work in a one-on-one setting and continuously learn new skills.
Assist patients in maintaining or restoring their ability to perform activities of daily living.
Actively participate as a member of the interdisciplinary team.
Comply with the Code of Conduct and corporate compliance requirements.
Maintain confidentiality of patient information and protect patient rights.
Use appropriate equipment, such as lifts and gait belts, and follow policy when transferring patients.
Change patient bedding as necessary and make unoccupied beds.
Serve and assist with meal tray setup and pickup, and pass drinking water and ice.
Answer call bells promptly and report issues to the charge nurse.
