About The Position

The role supports residents in a senior living community by maintaining clean resident rooms and work areas, promoting residents’ independence, dignity, and physical safety, and assisting with activities of daily living as instructed. The position also engages residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to communicate effectively with residents, management, and coworkers.
• Superior customer service skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities.
• Demonstrate good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.

Nice To Haves

• Certified Nurse’s Aid certification preferred.
• Previous experience working with seniors preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of residents’ rooms and work areas.
• Help residents maintain independence while promoting their dignity and physical safety.
• Participate in and assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, toileting, grooming, ambulation, transferring, and eating, as instructed.
• Engage residents in life skills and other life enrichment activities.
