About The Position

Comforts of Home Senior Living is seeking a CNA/Caregiver for its St. Croix Falls location. Caregivers work as part of a team to provide exceptional care and service to residents, families, visitors, and colleagues. The role supports residents’ performance and independence and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact each day. No experience is necessary; paid training is provided.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• No experience is necessary; paid training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents in reaching and maintaining the highest level of performance and independence while helping with personal care and daily living activities.
• Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed.
• Document services performed.
• Observe and report changes in residents’ physical and emotional condition.
• Assist with personal care, including shampooing hair, showering and bathing, incontinence management, transfers, and medication administration.
• Communicate and interact professionally, respectfully, and kindly.
• Communicate with and assist residents with dementia or related diagnoses.
• Perform additional tasks as needed.
