About The Position
Comforts of Home Senior Living is seeking a CNA/Caregiver at its Menomonie CBRF location. Caregivers work as part of a team to provide exceptional care and service to residents, families, visitors, and colleagues. The role supports residents’ performance and independence while helping with personal care and daily living activities. Paid training is provided, and no prior experience is necessary.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency required.
- Ability to prioritize and organize work effectively and efficiently.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- No experience necessary; paid training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist residents in reaching and maintaining the highest possible level of performance and independence while supporting personal care and daily living activities.
- Take and record residents’ temperature, blood pressure, weight, pulse, and respiration as instructed.
- Document services performed.
- Observe and report changes in residents’ physical or emotional condition.
- Assist with personal care, including shampooing hair, showering or bathing, incontinence management, transferring, and medication administration.
- Communicate and interact professionally, respectfully, and kindly.
- Communicate with and assist residents with dementia or related diagnoses.
- Perform additional tasks as needed.
