URGENTLY HIRING - Afternoon Shift CNA / Caregiver / HHA
About The Position
ComForCare Home Care – Central DuPage is seeking a dependable and compassionate CNA, HHA, or experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one care to a senior client in the client’s home. The role supports the client’s safety, comfort, independence, and daily routine through hands-on assistance and companionship. The position pays $17.00–$22.00 per hour. Caregivers receive support from the office and care team, regular training, and client assignments intended to match caregivers with compatible clients. The employer describes its caregivers as the heart and soul of its work and emphasizes treating them with respect and dignity and ensuring support is available in the field. The position also offers consistent work, opportunities for bonuses and additional hours, PTO accrual after 90 days, and a caregiver referral program. Employment is with an independently owned and operated ComForCare franchisee, which is a separate employer responsible for employment decisions. Requirements
- Experience providing personal care or senior care.
- Comfort assisting with activities of daily living and mobility.
- Ability to work independently in a client’s home.
- Professionalism and reliability.
- Comfort communicating with the care team and family.
- Candidates may have experience as a CNA, HHA, caregiver, personal care assistant (PCA), private duty caregiver, or home care aide.

- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer’s care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance, including bathing, toileting, and incontinence care.
- Assist with mobility and safe transfers.
- Prepare meals and provide meal assistance.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and meaningful conversation.
- Help with evening and bedtime routines.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client’s care.
- Observe changes in the client’s condition and report concerns.
- Follow the client’s individualized care plan.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
