About The Position
ComForCare Home Care – Central DuPage is seeking a dependable and compassionate CNA, HHA, or experienced Caregiver to provide quality one-on-one care to a senior client. The role supports the client in remaining safe, comfortable, and independent in their own home, with hands-on assistance and companionship to help maintain a comfortable routine.
Requirements
- Experience providing personal care or senior care.
- Comfort assisting with ADLs and mobility.
- Ability to work independently in a client's home.
- Professionalism and reliability.
- Comfort communicating with the care team and family.
Nice To Haves
- Experience with dementia or Alzheimer's care.
Responsibilities
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs).
- Provide personal care and hygiene assistance.
- Assist with bathing, toileting, and incontinence care.
- Provide mobility assistance and safe transfers.
- Prepare meals and assist with eating.
- Provide medication reminders.
- Offer companionship and meaningful conversation.
- Help with evening and bedtime routines.
- Perform light housekeeping related to the client's care.
- Observe changes in the client's condition and report concerns.
- Follow the client's individualized care plan.
- Maintain a safe and comfortable home environment.
