About The Position

PPG Aerospace is seeking a CMS Chemical Management Coordinator to join their team. This role involves managing inventory for clients and ensuring exceptional customer support. The coordinator will engage with clients and members of the Application Support Center (ASC), reporting directly to the CMS Supervisor. This position offers an opportunity to build strong professional relationships and contribute to the business's success. The role is full-time and onsite at the Aerospace customer's location in Mississauga, ON.

Requirements

1+ year of work experience in inventory management, logistics or supply chain-related role.
Demonstrated strength in fostering clear, collaborative communication at every organizational level.
Only Canadian Citizens or permanent residents are eligible to apply.
May be required to obtain government clearance.
Comfortable working in a production environment, including wearing required PPE (e.g., hearing protection/ear plugs) and regular lifting up to 50 lbs.
Willingness to work a day shift, along with occasional evening hours on an as needed basis.

Bachelor's degree or post‑secondary education preferred; comparable combination of education and experience may substitute.

Responsibilities

Handle inventory and generate custom reports to re-stock customers.
Determine quantity and order date for materials needed to meet the master production schedule.
Re-stock and supply products including chemicals, coatings, solvents, consumables, and more.
Responsible for supply chain reporting for assigned areas.
Manage inventory levels internally and for the customer.
Mitigate scrap and obsolescence through planning.
Meet customer requirements by setting appropriate safety stock levels.
Participate in regular PPG and client meetings and connect with other team members for planning purposes.
Approach work with a positive attitude and the flexibility to assume additional tasks as required.
