About The Position
Mi-Tech Tungsten Metals, located in Indianapolis, is part of the Plansee Group, a global leader in high-tech applications using tungsten and molybdenum. The Indianapolis site specializes in producing high-performance tungsten alloys for various industries including aerospace, defense, medical, and industrial applications. The CMM Quality Technician role involves inspecting and characterizing tungsten products from raw powder to the final product. This position supports the quality team by performing CMM inspections and providing feedback on the results to production CNC operators.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Related experience in a manufacturing or inspection environment
- Experience operating a CMM
Nice To Haves
- Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint reading
- 3+ years of experience inspecting product or working in a material lab
Responsibilities
- In process inspections on CMM
- Communication of the CMM results to production
- Final inspection on the CMM
- Complete non-CMM in-process and final inspections
