Requirements

  • Ability to use key creator and Microsoft office software
  • The ability to interpret detailed prints is required
  • Good written and verbal communication skills are required
  • Attention to detail is key
  • An individual in this position must be capable of working with minimum or no supervision

Nice To Haves

  • A thorough knowledge of CMM programming language(s) is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Basic maintenance of CMM machine (or equivalent)
  • Assistance to sample submission group in blueprint and coordinate matrix interpretation.
  • Assistance to product engineering, R&D and sample submission group in part layout and special projects.
  • Support of production needs related to part capability and ongoing customer data submission
  • Oversee all CMM activities within Techform.
  • Aid in the development of new fixture concepts and checking methods via the CMM, roamer and Faro
  • Ensure that all environmental requirements are identified and addressed when performing duties.
  • Ensure that all safety requirements are being carried out when performing duties.
  • Comply with defined Business Management and Environmental Management Systems requirements.
  • Provide support for the continuous improvement initiatives within Techform.
  • Provide support in the attainment of Techform's operating system goals as outlined by the key graphs.
  • Carry out all duties focusing on the goal of internal and external customer satisfaction.
  • Other duties as may be assigned by the supervisor or designate.
