CMM Programmer - 1st Shift
About The Position
We are an established AS9100-certified CNC turning and milling job shop, providing precision-machined parts to the medical, aerospace, and commercial industries. We are seeking a CMM Programmer to support our quality department through the development and execution of inspection programs and first article documentation. Key responsibilities include: Program and operate CMM equipment for production and first article inspection. Create and maintain inspection programs for complex machined components. Program and support vision inspection systems as required. Prepare bubble drawings and AS9102 first article inspection documentation. Train team members on proper CMM operation and inspection techniques. Support quality investigations and dimensional analysis activities. Collaborate with manufacturing and engineering teams to ensure inspection requirements are met. Assist in developing efficient inspection processes that support a world-class manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Experience programming and operating CMM equipment
- Knowledge of GD&T and blueprint interpretation
- Familiarity with AS9102 first article inspection requirements
- Experience preparing bubble drawings and inspection reports
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to troubleshoot inspection and measurement issues
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Keyence vision systems is a plus
- Experience with CMM Manager software is a plus
- Experience in aerospace, medical, or precision machining environments is a plus
