About The Position

The CMM Programmer III will perform incoming, in-process, and final inspection of parts daily while also writing and verifying CMM programs for production. This role involves both hands-on inspection and programming responsibilities to ensure high-quality products. Requirements

  • Strong understanding of GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing)
  • CMM programming and operating experience (Zeiss CMM, Calypso software)
  • Experience with various inspection tools (microscope, height gauges, micrometers, calipers)
  • Working knowledge of ASME Y14.5 and other common industry standards
  • Basic computer skills (file creation, saving, printing) and proficiency in Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Authorization to work in the United States. To conform to U.S. export control regulations, you should be eligible for any required authorizations from the U.S. Government.

Nice To Haves

  • Basic working knowledge of SolidWorks
  • Knowledge of Epicor ERP 10 or similar management/manufacturing information system
  • Calypso Training Certificate (Basic & Advanced)
  • SolidWorks basic working knowledge

Responsibilities

  • Write CMM programs offline and follow through to set-up and program verification for production
  • Write CMM programs online to inspect finished products and process inspection
  • Collaborate with other programmers and operators to achieve results
  • Prove out data for nonconforming items
  • Ensure there are no issues with fixturing and work with engineering groups to produce the best fixturing
  • Follow the program through the first set-up and run to ensure accuracy
  • Be actively involved in troubleshooting discrepancies and validating discrepancies as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
