The CI Engineer will be responsible for leading and working with operations to deliver product yield improvement across all manufacturing processes. Why join us? The CMM Programmer is responsible for developing, validating, and executing inspection programs using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) to ensure precision components meet engineering specifications and quality standards. This role supports manufacturing, engineering, and quality teams in a fast-paced aerospace/industrial environment. An ambitious individual who has proven experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) and ideally experience in blueprint interpretation and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing of metallic materials. We are keen to hear from candidates who have excellent understanding of data sheets, shop math and be able to solve right angle trigonometric problems and those who are proficient in exporting data to Excel for statistical evaluation.

Requirements

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 3+ years of CMM programming experience
  • Strong understanding of GD&T and blueprint reading
  • Experience with CMM software (PC-DMIS, Zeiss Calypso, or similar)
  • Knowledge of aerospace quality standards (AS9100 preferred)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • proven experience using Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
  • excellent understanding of data sheets, shop math and be able to solve right angle trigonometric problems
  • proficient in exporting data to Excel for statistical evaluation

Nice To Haves

  • experience in blueprint interpretation and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing of metallic materials.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and optimize CMM programs (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso) for complex components
  • Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and customer specifications
  • Perform first article inspections (FAI) and in-process inspections
  • Analyze inspection data and generate detailed reports
  • Troubleshoot measurement issues and improve inspection processes
  • Collaborate with engineering and production teams to resolve quality concerns
  • Maintain calibration and proper functioning of CMM equipment
  • Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
