About The Position
Radiant Health is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to support the medical and psychiatric needs of clients receiving mental health and behavioral health services. The CMA/RMA provides client care, supports medication management, assists with clinical orders and follow-up, and maintains accurate documentation and a clean, safe, welcoming clinical environment. The position is located at Radiant Adams St in Marion, Indiana.
Requirements
- Certified Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant associate degree (2-year clinical program).
- Have or be willing to obtain CPR certification.
- Have or be willing to obtain CPI certification.
- Must have sight and hearing to be able to observe client behavior.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding client care while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
- Obtain and document vital signs, heights, weights, and urine drug screens.
- Complete client screenings and communicate important findings to providers.
- Assist with laboratory, imaging, and other clinical orders.
- Transcribe provider medication orders and support medication management processes.
- Coordinate with pharmacies, providers, and insurance companies regarding prescriptions and prior authorizations.
- Follow up on lab results and clinical orders to ensure continuity of care.
- Educate and support clients regarding medications and potential side effects.
- Administer injectable medications as ordered by providers.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with organizational, state, and federal regulations.
- Contribute to a clean, safe, and welcoming clinical environment.
